UGANDA MARINE TECHNICIAN BOOK REQUIRED DOCUMENTS

In case you want a SBK for Marine Technician (persons that work on board but no crew and not having STCW certificates like Certificates of Proficiency or Competency) please click on the link application to receive the application form.

The procedure for Marine Technician is very simple as below:

  1. Download the application and follow the instructions included
  2. Prepare the required documents as indicated in the application
  3. Pay the fees including courier fees  in case you will not collect the documents in person from our office in Greece
  4. Send payment swift & the documents to the email: stcw@liberoservices.org or post/deliver  them to our address
  5. Provided all application documents are in order, your SB will be ready within 2  working days and should be posted to the declared address or you can collect in person from our premises.

The cost for Uganda SB for Marine Technician is 250€ plus courier Fees (30€ for Europe – 60 Euros worldwide)

Note 1: Belize does not issue CoC neither CoP for the moment for non Belize nationals

Marine technician books / Seaman books for Ratings (Able seaman, oiler, OS, wiper, etc.)

  • Valid Security courses (either Ship Security Officer or Designated Security Duties)

The cost for Belize SB for Marine Technician or Seaman’s Books is 600€ plus courier Fees (30€ for Europe – 60 Euros worldwide)

BELIZE DELIVERABLES

HONDURAS REQUIRED DOCUMENTS FOR SEAFARERS

Note 1: All documents must be submitted only in JPG format

Note 2: COC that are Near Coastal or Harbor or Cabotage limited are not acceptable

Note 3: The sea service must be documented inside the Seaman Book (if the SB can be verified) or in a letter by the vessel’s managing company with the official email of the company on it (gmail, yahoo, outlook, hotmail are not acceptable)

Note 4: The Seaman books for Officers will have  expiration date same as the COC

MASTER II/2 or II/3

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Photo passport size
  • Honduras Application form
  • Honduras Medical
  • COC as Chief Mate or Master – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Sea services (within the last 5 years)
    • 12 months as Master (if his existing COC is Master) or
    • 24 months as Chief Mate (if his existing COC is Chief Mate)

CHIEF MATE II/2

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Photo passport size
  • Honduras Application form
  • Honduras Medical
  • COC as Chief Mate or 3rd Mate or 2nd Mate – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Sea services (within the last 5 years
    • 12 months as Chief Mate (if his existing COC is Chief Mate) or
    • 12 months as 2nd Mate (if his existing COC is 2nd Mate) or

24 months as 3rd Mate (if his existing COC is 3rd Mate

3RD MATE II/1

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Photo passport size
  • Honduras Application form
  • Honduras Medical
  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Sea services (within the last 5 years
    • 12 months as Able seafarer Deck (if there is an existing COC as Able Seafarer Deck II/5) or
    • 18 months as Able Seaman

 

CHIEF ENGINEER III/2 or III/3

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)
  • Photo passport size
  • Honduras Application form
  • Honduras Medical
  • COC as 2nd Engineer or Chief Engineer – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Sea services (within the last 5 years
    • 12 months as Chief Engineer (if his existing COC is Chief Engineer) or
    • 24 months as 2nd Engineer (if his existing COC is 2nd Engineer)

 

2ND ENGINEER III/2 or III/3

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

  • Honduras Application form
  • Honduras Medical
  • COC as 3rd Engineer or 2nd Engineer – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Sea services (within the last 5 years)
    • 12 months as 2nd Engineer (if his existing COC is 2nd Engineer) or
    • 24 months as 3rd Engineer (if his existing COC is 3rd Engineer)

3RD ENGINEER III/1

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag

    • 12 months as Able seafarer Engine (if there is an existing COC as Able Seafarer Engine III/5) or

ELETROTECHNICAL OFFICER (ETO) III/6

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

  • Passport (valid for at least 6 months)

  • University/Academic Degree/Diploma of at least 2-3 years duration, in electrical engineering or any similar field
  • Seaman Book – issued by an STCW white list flag
  • Sea services (within the last 5 years)
    • 36 months as Electrician or
    • 12 months as ETO (service as ETO without a COC are only acceptable before 7/2017)

OILER III/4

YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT:

GENERAL QUESTIONS

  • Does Honduras issue CoC and CoP?  Honduras issue COC for officers and also for ratings
  • What is the Validity of SBK? Does the SB follows the CoC or CoP expiration dates?   Any new SB has 5 years validity, therefore follows the COC dates
  • Do we have for Honduras Marine Technician SBK?  Marine technician under Honduras is not possible
  • Who can issue seaman’s book for Marine Technician? Uganda, Belize & Panama but read the requirements for these flags.
  • I am working on board a cruise vessel as a hairdresser. Can I have seaman’s book for Marine technician  Yes
  • Do you accept training certificate from any training centre?  The courses must be approved by an STCW white listed flag in order to be acceptable. The fees that will be deducted in case your candidates have their own STCW courses would be 30€ per SB application
  • I have already valid medical certificate. Is this accepted for the application? Both Honduras and Belize accept Medicals only in their own forms. We strongly recommend to send these medical forms to the interested companies, so they can at least give these forms to their seafarers so they can have them available to their doctor visits.
  • I want to receive additional certificates such as Tanker certificate. Is this included in the Honduras package? No, you have to request what additional certificates you need and we will provide the cost for each case.
  • What is the cost for my certification  Affter you will decide what is EXACTLY your request kai you confirm that the deliverable are what you need send us email to stcw@liberoservices.org. Having evaluation of your case we will send a quotation.
  • I have some certificates but I do not know for what rank can I have can you evauatemy documents and advise what todo?  This has a cost of 200 € and this ammount is deducted from the cost of your final choise. You have to send a swift to the below accounts.
  • When and at what account should I pay the fees?  The fees should be paid in advance to the below account:
